Real Estate Development and Construction >>
Ben provides advice and counsel to real estate developers, investors, builders, general contractors and homeowners on an array of issues in real estate and construction. Whether it’s setting up the proper corporate structure for real estate development projects, reviewing loan documents and title commitments to ensure closings go as smoothly as possible, preparing contracts for builders and general contractors, or advising on lien laws and removing encumbrances to properties, Ben enjoys the intricacies involved in these areas of law and assisting his clients along the way.
Law's Impact on our Society >>
As social media and round-the-clock news channels have become the norm, more law professors, lawyers and former judges are being interviewed and asked to share their views on ethics, constitutional law, the limits of state and federal government, and ultimately, the so-called “rule of law.” Ben shares his views on these issues based on his own personal experience as a lawyer, including areas of law that impact our everyday lives and we don’t often think about.
